Rated 5 out of 5 by from My cats Love this. I'm so glad they will each this food. I am disappointed to see Purina offer such nonsense as "Sole and Pasta" entrees for cats. My cats do not need pasta!!!!!!. The urinary health food, which one cat "needs" appears to be simply watered down. Other foods with corn make my second baby vomit. This item, though containing some guar gum, lacks all the nasty stupid fillers- corn rice, potatoes, wood cellulose and all the other garbage we spend good $$$$ on to feed our carnivorous darlings. It's wet, which is a primary concern for stone prone kitties. The cats agree. It's good stuff. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 3 out of 5 by from something is different for sure The Finesse classic was grain free before - ONLY the classic - the other flavors do have wheat gluten or rice/pasta etc. I have fed grain free forever, and I read labels. now there are no artificial ingredients as listed before so that is good, but it is certainly changed, along with costing more. I am all for removing the artificial flavor, but what else changed? It is not as "soft" and my kitties are not amused. They also changed the ocean fish a while back & added tuna - again not amused. After trying so many different foods, I had a reliable 3 to rotate for my kits, and now - well maybe it is down to 2.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from My 2 cats love this food My two elderly cats do not agree on most high end brand wet cats food, but this they both eat eagerly. I am surprised to read the negative reviews on this site, I expected differently. My vet office had clued me in on the fact that cats usually like the less expensive cat foods as they are more like "fast food" whereas more formulated foods are more nutritious, though can be less appetizing to the cat. It makes sense that cats might be resistant to change from a tastier food to a more nutritious one; which might be the case with the reformulation in this food (?).

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Most Balanced Wet cat food on market all the people with picky cats are a bit oversensitive i think, my cat eats anything but loves this stuff and i prefer this grain free version, because it is closer to the natural food they would eat wild, that's probably why its called "true Nature" after all, so if your not a fan of grain free then why complain about it? you chose to try to feed a can clearly labeled grain free of you own choice. also, don't feed cats dry food people, THAT is why so many cats have urinary tract problems. Rated 1 out of 5 by from My Cat Hates This Too My cat has eaten Pro Plan Finesse Adult Chicken & Liver Entree Classic for years and has loved it. Since they changed the formula to make it grain free, she won't touch it. She just sniffs and walks away. I have been trying alternatives but have not yet found a suitable one. She will reluctantly eat the Fancy Feast Tender Liver and Chicken Feast Classic but I judge it to an inferior food as chicken is listed fourth in the ingredients list. I will continue looking for an alternative. Purina, please bring back the old formula.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Something's Not Right! Bought one can of the grain free chicken and liver and my cat did not like it. He sniffed it and walked away crying. Luckily I still have a few cans of the old version. I opened one up and gave some and he ate it right up. I'll have to slowly introduce the new mixed with the old. Hopefully that will work, otherwise I'll be like the others here...trying to find something else. I was told by the pet store that the recipe has not changed. I believe my cat knows better.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from miss the old formula I have two cats. One eats anything and loves several flavors of pro plan. The other is very picky, but loved the old chicken and liver formula. Then you changed it and he refused to eat...we have been very, very slowly mixing the old and new and he will now eat it, but is not thrilled. This afternoon, I accidentally gave him some of the old formula by itself and he gobbled it down. I join others in asking you to bring back that original chicken and liver formula...

Rated 1 out of 5 by from "Grain Free" Chicken & Liver & Ocean Whitefish My cat won't go near this either. Same goes for the "Grain Free" ocean whitefish, won't go near it. She loved both, has been eating these brands for years and I've tried other brands for same flavor and won't eat. Please bring back the old. Give consumer a choice. Purina, please don't get on this band wagon of "grain free", don't market for people, market for the cats and please don't go "grain free" on your dry foods.
